Pastor Parris Sexton is the founding and Lead Pastor of Life Church. For nearly five decades, he has faithfully devoted his life to preaching the Gospel, teaching God's Word, and helping others discover the life-changing hope found in Jesus Christ.

His ministry has always been marked by a genuine love for people, a deep commitment to biblical truth, and a passion for sharing the Gospel wherever God opens a door. Throughout Delaware and the Delmarva Peninsula, he has faithfully served churches, led evangelistic outreach, and invested in countless lives through personal relationships and compassionate pastoral care.

Pastor Sexton believes ministry extends far beyond the walls of the church. Whether preaching from the pulpit, encouraging someone over breakfast, or serving within the community, his desire remains the same: to love God, love people, and point others to Jesus Christ.

His life and ministry continue to reflect the promise of Romans 8:31: “If God is for us, who can be against us?” That confidence in God's faithfulness has shaped both his leadership and the culture of Life Church.
